HubSpot is different, because HubSpot has its own plugin
Every other platform on this site is reached through a form plugin’s integration. HubSpot also ships an official WordPress plugin of its own, with forms, live chat and tracking built in.
That changes the question. Before asking which form plugin connects to HubSpot, ask whether you need a form plugin here at all.
Use HubSpot’s own plugin if you want HubSpot forms embedded in WordPress, its tracking code, and contacts landing directly in the CRM. So it is the shortest path.
Use a WordPress form plugin plus an integration if you already have forms you like, need WordPress-side features such as conditional logic, file uploads, payments or post creation, or you do not want HubSpot’s script loading on every page.
In short, the second case is the one this page is about.
The seven that connect

| Ninja Forms | 600,000 | 88/100 |

WordPress.org plugin API, 29 August 2026. So HubSpot is one of the better supported platforms here, roughly level with ActiveCampaign.
The performance argument nobody makes up front
HubSpot’s own plugin loads its tracking script sitewide. That is the point of it, but it is also a third-party script on every page load, which shows up in Core Web Vitals.
A form plugin such as WPForms with a server-side HubSpot integration sends the submission from your server instead, and loads nothing extra in the browser. So if page speed is a live concern, that difference is worth more than any feature in the comparison table above.
Contact Form 7
No integrations, ten million installs, by design. So a connector is how it reaches HubSpot, and you keep the forms you have.
Questions people actually ask
Should I use HubSpot’s plugin or a form plugin? HubSpot’s if you want their forms and tracking. A form plugin plus a connector if you want WordPress forms and less client-side script.
Does the integration create a contact or a deal? Almost always a contact. Deals usually need HubSpot workflows on their side. So confirm before you build a process around it.
Will it slow my site down? HubSpot’s own plugin adds a sitewide script. A server-side integration does not.
Does Contact Form 7 support HubSpot? Not natively. Add a connector.
