Pick the platform, then the plugin

Most “best form plugin” articles compare features. That is the wrong order if you already know which email platform you use, because support varies enormously by platform and a plugin that wins on features may not connect to your tool at all.

So these seven comparisons are organised by platform. Each answers the same question: which WordPress form plugins reach this one, and what does each cost you.

The seven

How these were put together

Every install count, rating and rating count comes from the WordPress.org plugin API, read on 29 August 2026. Whether a plugin supports a platform is taken from the plugin’s own readme, which is where vendors list what they connect to.

No prices are quoted anywhere in this set. They change, and a page carrying a stale price is worse than one carrying none. Each comparison links out to the vendor instead.

Ratings are shown with their rating count, because a 98 from 375 people and a 96 from 14,369 are not the same claim and the raw score hides that.

The one fact that runs through all seven

Contact Form 7 has ten million active installs and connects to nothing. Not Mailchimp, not any of them. That is deliberate: it builds and sends forms and leaves integrations to add-ons.

It is also why ClickSyncr exists, and why every one of these pages ends up making the same distinction. If you already have forms, add a connector. If you are starting fresh and happy inside one vendor’s ecosystem, buy their tier and keep the moving parts down.

Already built the forms you want?

ClickSyncr connects the forms you already have to the email platform you already pay for, without rebuilding either.
