Connect Your WordPress Forms to Kit (formerly ConvertKit)

ClickSyncr for Kit is a free Kit integration for WordPress forms, and it supports every account from the ConvertKit era: it turns form submissions into Kit subscribers automatically. It works with Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms, Ninja Forms, Fluent Forms, Formidable Forms, and Forminator: whichever builder your site uses, every submission lands in the Kit form you choose, with field mapping and no code required.

Works with your form builder

ClickSyncr integrates natively with each builder, so the Kit settings live where you already work. Each name links to its step-by-step setup guide:

• Contact Form 7 + Kit: a ClickSyncr Kit tab appears in the Contact Form 7 editor. Pick a Kit form, map your fields, save.
• WPForms + Kit: a ClickSyncr Kit section in the WPForms builder settings. Configure the sync per form without leaving the builder.
• Gravity Forms + Kit: a native Gravity Forms feed. Add a ClickSyncr Kit feed to any form, with conditional logic support from the feed framework.
• Ninja Forms + Kit: a ClickSyncr Kit action in the Ninja Forms builder. Add it to a form and every submission syncs.
• Fluent Forms + Kit: a native Fluent Forms integration. Connect the key once under Integrations, then add a Kit feed to any form.
• Formidable Forms + Kit: a Kit form action, available in Formidable Lite as well as Pro.
• Forminator + Kit: a native Forminator application. Connect it once, then apply it to any form.

How it works

1. Install ClickSyncr for Kit and activate it. It detects your form builder automatically.
2. Open your form in its builder and find the ClickSyncr Kit tab, section, feed, action, or integration.
3. Paste your Kit v4 API key once. ClickSyncr connects to your account and loads your Kit forms and custom fields, and every builder shares the connection.
4. Choose the Kit form for this WordPress form.
5. Map your form fields to Email, first name, and your Kit custom fields, and save.
6. Done. Every new submission is sent to Kit as a subscriber.

Kit integration features

• Idempotent sync: subscribers are matched by email, so re-submissions update the existing subscriber instead of creating duplicates.
• Field mapping: Email is the only required mapping; first name and every custom field in your Kit account are available targets.
• ConvertKit compatible: Kit is the new name for ConvertKit, and the same accounts and v4 API keys work unchanged.
• Consent aware: with an acceptance checkbox in your form, ticked submissions join the Kit form and unticked ones are saved in Kit as subscribers only, outside the form.
• Kit-native double opt-in: each Kit form’s own incentive email and confirmation settings decide the opt-in flow, exactly where Kit users manage it.
• One connection, seven builders: the v4 API key is stored once and shared across every supported form builder on the site.
• Rate-limit aware: respects Kit’s API rate limits so a busy site never silently drops submissions.
• Debug logging: submission failures are written to WordPress debug.log when WP_DEBUG_LOG is enabled.
• Coexists with every other ClickSyncr integration: run Kit alongside Mailchimp, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign and 20+ more on the same site.

Get your Kit v4 API key

1. Log in to Kit and open your account settings, then go to the Developer (API Keys) section.
2. Create a v4 API key. Accounts from the ConvertKit era work the same way.
3. Copy it and paste it into any ClickSyncr Kit panel. One key serves the whole site, and free Kit accounts work.

Treat the key like a password. Anyone holding it can read and modify your Kit subscribers.

Which form builder should you use with Kit?

Any of them. If your site already runs Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms, Ninja Forms, Fluent Forms, Formidable Forms, or Forminator, ClickSyncr connects the forms you already have to Kit: there is no reason to switch builders just to grow your list. The plugin refuses to run without a supported builder present, and the sync behaves identically on all seven.
